Refunds & Returns

We here at Rocknus strive to make sure our customers are completely satisfied with our products and services. We pride ourselves on maintaining a 5-star shop. We’ve made the return/refund process easy by providing a simple “Return” button next to each item on your “Orders” page. You can find all of this in the “My Account/Orders” section. The link is at the top of every page.

Most items you purchase from Rocknus can be returned without reason within 30 business days for a full refund provided the item is in perfect, unused condition, with original tags still affixed and/or unopened/undamaged packaging. For in-store purchases, receipt or CC transaction date may be requested in order to look up the transaction. Credit card purchases will be refunded to the card. Items that are found to have manufacturers defects can be returned within 30 days for a full refund no matter the condition of the packaging.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Food/drink items
  • Bait
  • Knives/blades (use manufacturer)
  • Weapons/ammo of any kind (use manufacturer)***
  • Flammable/hazardous products
  • Gift cards
  • Items that appear to have been used and/or damaged by purchaser
  • Event Tickets*
  • Drop-shipped items**

*Event tickets, such as firearms safety classes or survival courses are non-refundable. Think of these seats as concert seats. If you miss the concert for any reason, sadly, you just miss it. If you want to go to the next concert, you must purchase another seat. You cannot expect the entertainers to create a special engagement for you or refuse to sell a seat to a paying customer in the next show in order to hold it for someone who missed the last one. That’s bad business. Like concerts though, our tickets can be transferred to another qualified person so that they may attend in your place on the night of the event so the ticket is not wasted.

Again, we do try to work with customers and hate the idea of you not getting a service you paid for and so the way we work it is this… If you miss a class or event and it is a repeating event, you may contact us on the date of the next session of that class/event that suits your schedule and if a seat is open, you may take it. Call or email early on that day.

**Special drop-shipped items from 3rd parties should not be returned to Rocknus. Instead please contact the vendor as shown on the shipping/invoice labels that come with your shipment.

***IMPORTANT! Rocknus is a Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer. Rocknus abides by all local, state and federal laws pertaining to the sale/transfer of firearms, ammunition and other items that are regulated by the ATF or other local, state and federal government entities. Rocknus will only ship firearms, ammo and other regulated items to another federally licensed firearms dealer in the home state of the purchaser and only to states where the item is not prohibited. Adult signature is required at receiving end of regulated shipments. A valid copy of the receiving Federal Firearms Licensee’s license is required before shipment. If for any reason you are unable to take possession of a regulated item once received by your chosen FFL, it is up to you and your FFL to work out the return and you must do so immediately. Only the FFL can ship the item back to Rocknus and it is up to that FFL as to what to charge you for the transfer/shipment back to us (or you may decide to sell the item to your FFL). If a return is authorized, Rocknus will refund the purchase price minus original shipping and a 20% restocking fee. Regulated items that you have successfully taken possession of from your FFL cannot be returned to Rocknus. Use the manufacturer instead. For FFL to FFL returns, the two dealers must communicate and agree on the return process before taking action. Standard, unregulated items cannot be shipped to your FFL together with regulated items. Order these separately and have them shipped to your home instead. Combined orders that require Rocknus to manually separate may incur addition shipping and handling costs, of which you will be notified before action is taken. Most of these regulated sales require strict communication between buyer, seller and receiving FFL so please bear with and stay on top of the process throughout.

  • Some health and personal care items

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.


We only refund items that were purchased online and then properly returned. We cannot “exchange” these items. If you would like to exchange an item purchased online, simply perform a refund/return on the qualifying item and then purchase the same item again. Face-to-face exchanges in store can be performed on qualifying items.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver (and they will find out about your return).

Unless previously communicated and authorized, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
